Offering such nice sounding samples for free is astounding. Are we supposed to play this as a monophonic piano? Even something simple as playing a melody with an accompaniment is not possible, because each note of the accompaniment is exactly as loud as the note of the melody, thus drowning the melody. Either that, or I need some explanation what the benefit of this setup is supposed to be. I can only assume it must have been set up this way accidently, and Spitfire is going to correct it so that you can actually play this with a keyboard. The samples are superb, but a piano it is not. So please ignore the voices saying that this is a superb free piano. A pitty, because the samples are very nice. I can not fathom what the thinking was behind that way of setting up the samples. You can not play a chord and have different dynamics for each note, which is a most basic function in any piano playing known to mankind. If you want to play a chord with three voices, with each voice having a slightly different dynamic: you have to set up the plugin thrice, and play one voice on each with the cc1 and cc11 settings that you need. These are very nice sounding piano samples, but you can not use them like a piano at all. And cc11 on top to switch between the velocity layers. Instead, you have to use cc1 to control the volume. Did you all realize that with this vst, key velocity does basically nothing? It does change velocity a bit, but only minimally.
